First of all, I'm replacing an old full size Shark Rotator Lift Off, so I wanted it to be user friendly, lightweight and have excellent suction. My 100 year old house is wood floors, some porcelain tile, and area rugs (low pile) but we have 2 dogs and we're in and out a lot so, lots to vacuum all the time.I tried a couple of Amazon "renewed" including the following:Shark UV580Shark UV850Both looked like new but ultimately I returned them because they started making a very high-pitched noise that really hurt your head after using. Not good. The UV580 also would only trap dirt/hair around the filter and it started heating up with the rest of canister empty and hair just being sucked on the filter. Again, not good. Plus the canister of the UV580 was teenie tiny.In addition, I tried a few Bissell uprights, thinking I'll just get a different brand altogether. I tried and returned:Bissell 24613 Pet turbo eraser wouldn't fit under any furniture so I tried the Bissell 2998 Multi Clean Lift Off, but it was very heavy and pretty expensive, and didn't have an extension to get under furniture easily either, although the motorized upholstery attachment was terrific. I was not impressed with Bissell, though, and they're supposed to be the Pet Vacuum people!Finally, I bought the Shark HV343AMZ, thinking it looked like this vacuum, but $50 less, so I gave it a try. The Duo Clean head of this vacuum, in my opinion, out performs the Zero M Cleaner head of the HV343AMZ, and it almost feels self- propelled over rugs where the HV343AMZ has to be pushed and pulled. Huge difference. It also feels better quality. Both are lightweight, but if you gotta vacuum, you gotta like your tool.So my search, which required a lightweight vacuum, with LED, attachments, larger dirt canister, easy to push and store, has come to an end with the Shark PNAEUT also known as ZS360C. Plus, it's a pretty color of teal/jade, which makes me happy.
