Our dog chewed nearly completely through the cord on our vacuum. Not looking to spend a couple hundred on a new one, I got this and it works great! Same length as the factory cord, has the clip on the plug (some cords for sale here do t have that!) and seems to be strong and flexible. Installation in my Shark vacuum took about 20 minutes. Your model may vary. Expect to do some disassembly of your vacuum. There are videos online for pretty much any make and model to walk you through it. Overall, an easy repair even for a novice.
