This filter housing is sturdy. My installation took a little while (downflow installation so filter had to go on top and connected to irregular ducting). I measured airflow at vents with at least a 10% increase in flow. This will be especially beneficial for the summer air conditioning. MERV11 filter, I may try MERV 13 and recheck air flow but so far very happy.
